On Queensday 30th April 2013, the Dutch Embassy celebrated their national holiday as well as the succession to the throne from Queen Beatrix to her son, Willem-Alexander.

I was commissioned to create a typical Amsterdam atmosphere at the Embassy in Berlin for this double celebration, which included local dignitaries and many of the Dutch community in attendance.

Six important sights from Amsterdam are shown on banners and the windows show custom-made graphics of the canal-side houses of Amsterdam and The Palais op de Dam. In the foyer, the ancestry of the Dutch royal family are presented in blue prints in golden baroque-style frames.
